At AMS Kindergarten, we have designed a comprehensive academic program that focuses on how students learn and develop their skills, rather than just content. We place a great deal of importance on our students' ability to work collectively, as well as independently, in developing their own thinking.

Based on these guiding principles; we have chosen "Mouse and Me!" (Oxford) as our course book and Jolly Phonics as our phonics resource for all Kindergarten stages. This course takes a whole-child approach, embracing multiple intelligences to give every student the best start to their English learning journey. It supports children’s cognitive, emotional, physical, social and language development. Providing Cross-curricular Smart topics that develop multiple intelligences; this course encourages learning by doing with interactive songs, stories and puppets with opportunities to join in, crafts, indoor and outdoor activities.

In the Primary Stage, we will teach Oxford Discover course book. Oxford Discover Uses an inquiry-based approach to learning; developing the communication skills and thinking skills students need for success in the 21st century.

Each module in the course book starts with a Big Question to tap into students' natural curiosity. It enables them to ask their own questions, find their own answers, and explore the world around them.

This approach to language learning and literacy, supported by a controlled grammar and skills syllabus, helps students achieve near-native fluency in English.

In the preparatory stage, we will teach Close-up course book. Close-up brings English to life through spectacular National Geographic photography and facts carefully selected to appeal to the inquisitive minds of students. They will discover real places, real people and real English through a 'Close-up' of the world around them.
